PIN PLEDGE is a fun, encouraging and easy way to support kids in a tough sport. How does it work? You pledge to donate money for each pin our team (or your specific wrestler) earns during the 2015-2016 season. We provide weekly updates and a final tally in March. You then make a tax-deductible donation for the amount of your pledge. If the total is more or less than expected, it’s fine to adjust.
If you prefer a different method (total victories during the season or even a one-time pledge), that’s fine too. The idea is to support your wrestler and our team so we can continue building a great program for our wrestlers.
HERE’S THE SECRET…
It’s really easy to make a donation, and we appreciate your generosity. But the most effective way to raise money is ask relatives, friends, neighbors and co-workers to support your wrestler. Most people know wrestling is a tough sport, and they will gladly support your wrestler’s efforts. So at beginning of the season, we will distribute pledge forms to distribute to friends, neighbors and co-workers. Also feel free to send a link to this page via email or social media. We will recognize the top families who raise money for the club at the conclusion of the season.
HOW MANY PINS ARE EXPECTED?
Last year, our team recorded 147 total pins. We hope to increase the number this year (maybe 200?) but it’s hard to predict. As mentioned, if the total is higher or lower than you anticipate, you can adjust your donation. If you prefer to donate based only on your wrestler’s pins that’s perfectly fine. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you much for your generosity!
